Creative Outlets Online…

Red Bubble
I am lucky to be in a family of many talented people. My daughter loves to write poetry and has taken some stunning photographs. My partner Paul is an illustrator, writer and graphic artist and his sister, Lina, a wonderful writer and photographer as well, has recently expanded her limitless creativity into the realm of graphic art.  A few months ago she turned us on to RedBubble.com – an artists’ community online.

RedBubble.com is an Australia company that offers artists a free place to build an online portfolio of their photography, graphic art, illustrations, poetry and more. You can even offer your art/photography for sale on a number of products including prints, shirts and greeting cards. It is easy to set up a profile and a Bubblesite and the community is genuinely supportive. You can share your work with other people in groups (there are 100s to choose from) with common interests and connect with other artists/photographers/writers for collaboration and to share inspiration.

There are a number of online artist communities and sites that will feature your art work on products for sale, but I think RedBubble.com has a better user-interface and higher quality products – plus – it’s free! So if you are eager to share your art with others and like the idea of a “free” web presence for your portfolio of artwork or photography, you might want to give RedBubble.com a try.

Here’s the links to check out some of my favorite artists on RedBubble.com:
