A few months ago I was pulling my hair our because I have two computers and I use a few different browsers on each computer, which created a situation of having a bunch of different bookmarks in about four different places. Clearly not conducive to finding a bookmarked URL quickly. I needed a way to have one central place to store all of my internet bookmarks plus I wanted to be able to access my bookmarks when I was not at one of my own computers.
After much research and asking friends and colleagues what they used, I finally decided on Foxmarks. Foxmarks is a quick download from FireFox (a great browser too, if you haven’t tried it) which automatically synchronizes bookmarks between multiple Firefox browsers. Now my bookmarks are managed and updated regularly and available to me with a simple login at www.Foxmarks.com. If I’m traveling or visiting a client and need access to my bookmarks, I can easily access them from any computer.
If you are experiencing scattered and unorganized bookmarks between multiple computers you might want to give Foxmarks a try!
