Share Your Presentations – Promote Yourself…

If you’ve gone to the trouble of building a Power Point presentation (on any topic) then why not share it on the web on Slideshare.com where you can gain valuable online exposure for yourself through your presentation(s).

Slideshare.com is a great place to share your presentations as well as find presentations on any subject!  You can share your presentations both publicly or privately (maybe you only want to make your presentation available to those who attended your workshop) and they support a wide variety of presentation formats, not just PowerPoint.  You can add audio to your presentation to make it into a webinar too!

Last year I was invited to do a presentation at a Kauai Health & Wellness Association event for which I spent a fair amount of time preparing my presentation in Power Point.  Using SlideShare.com I have uploaded my presentation for others to view while promoting myself and my business in the process.  Now that my presentation has a “home” on the web I can link to it from other profiles that I have including LinkedIn, and Facebook, as well as on my website and this blog.

Even if you just wanted to create a Power Point presentation using some great photos of your activity, accommodation, restaurant or other small business along with some Hawaiian music or whatever else to create some ambiance, you could use Slideshare.com as a Free way to build more online exposure and promote your website/business by including your website address and/or phone number within the presentation.

    I liked your SEO presentation, by the way. Definitely not the easiest topic to condense into a succinct presentation and I feel you did a great job.
