Promoting Your Blog…

If you’ve started a blog recently, here’s a list of sites you’ll want to submit to so more people can find and be exposed to your blog content.

  • Feedburner
  • Technorati (claim your blog at the bottom of the page)
  • Blog TopSites
  • Reddit (submit a link)
  • Digg (Provide social media icons on every blog post, encourage readers to submit your posts)
  • Delicious (Create an account and bookmark your blog)
  • Stumble Upon (Provide social media icons on every blog post, encourage readers to submit your posts)
  • Furl (Provide social media icons on every blog post, encourage readers to submit your posts)

…and don’t forget it you have a Twitter account, sign up for a TwitterFeed which will enable you to feed your blog posts into your Twitter profile.  LinkedIn also offers applications for feeding your WordPress blog posts into your profile, click here to check out the free LinkedIn/WordPress application. If you’re on Facebook, you can use an app called RSS Grafitti to feed your blog articles into your Facebook profile.

This blog post is dedicated to my clients and friends, Jenny and Joy of Fujita  Miura Public Relations – who just launched their public relations blog this past week.  Congratulations!
