Options Not Obligations by Marc Warnke

onoI just recently finished reading Marc Warnke’s booked call “ONO – Options Not Obligations“.  Marc is what you would call a “Family First Entrepreneur” which is the reason the book caught my attention in the first place.  Ever since building my home-based business almost 9 years ago, I have appreciated and valued the quality of life I have in being able to work from home.  It has afforded me the  opportunity to be an involved parent and have more time for the things that matter the most to me.

Marc’s book is a great read for anyone thinking about starting their own business or for those who have lost their jobs and are considering “what is next” on the career front.  The book might just inspire you to re-consider your options and priorities to ensure that you are fulfilled both financially and personally.  Some of what Marc covers in the book is similar to strategies I learned  in the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People workshops I attended years ago which was a gift from two of my mentors at the time (thank you – you know who you are).   I had to smile when I reviewed how my life has changed for the better since venturing onto the entrepreneurial path.  While not every day is easy by any means, the benefits of living a life by design and being able to give attention to the people and things that are important to me while doing what I love from home has been one of the greatest blessings in my life.

I’m sure if I implemented more of Marc’s practical suggestions for building wealth, I’d be even better off.  One step in front of the other, each new day is an opportunity to learn more and put what you’ve learned into practice.  Thanks Marc, I enjoyed the book very much!
