I made a folder called 'My Photographs' (which is divided into years and months) to store all my personal photos in. All the pictures i've saved from the internet I keep in the Windows 'My Pictures' folder. In addition to that, I use Windows Photo Gallery to view and tag them. After they are all tagged, it makes finding any picture a breeze, especially when you have a few thousand! It's a good habit to organize them and tag them as soon as you upload them to your computer from your camera. This is exactly how I have my photographs organized.
