Diacritical punctuation marks are an important element of Hawaiian language, affecting both the pronunciation and meaning of particular words. When I come across a Hawaiian name or word that requires the proper Hawaiian punctuation, I visit this website to find the HTML code for the kāhako and ‘okina for the appropriate letter.
